Atem Books & Emergent 2010 Lleida

Atem Books editors, Maria and Emma, will be at Emergent , Photography and Visual Arts International Festival, in Lleida next October. There we will be at the “El pati de la llotja” space where we will take a look at photographers portfolios, speak with -and a lot of other interesting things- emerging photographers about new collaborations… There we will be with other people related with photography or emerging photography (Gatos de Marte gallery in Murcia, the directors of Fundació Photographyc Social Vision, etc.).

And… 22nd October at 19:00h we will be at a debate with other independent publishing houses (10×15 fanzine, Piel de Foto, etc.). This debate will be moderated by Joana Hurtado who is an independent curator and art critic who publishes in La Vanguardia newspaper.

Atem Books & Ingràvid Festival

We’ll be at the 2nd edition of Festival de Cultura Contemporània de l’Empordà INGRÀVID next 26th September. There we will present Carpaccio Magazine and our new editorial project, “Viaranys de boira” collection. In this collection we’ll publish little books/fanzines. These little books will be monographs of photographers of illustrators. We’re now editing 6 little books… in less than one month we’ll publish them!

We are so happy to be at Ingràvid festival, because is a festival held where Carpaccio Magazine was born: l’Empordà. And, even if Carpaccio Magazine & Atem Books is an international project (our collaborators come from all over the world), we can say that Carpaccio Magazine is part of Empordà culture! So is great news to have the opportunity to show us our projects here where we live.

Well, if you want to see us explaining these projects, you’ll find us next 26th September at the Domo space of Ingràvid festival at 11:00h in the morning.
