Terms & Conditions

Associació Atem Books Editorial and its affiliates provide access to the atembooks.com website (the “website”) and sell physical products, downloads of data, goods and services to you, subject to the terms and conditions set out below. By using Atem Books, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions which together with our Privacy Policy govern Atem Books’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term ‘Associació Atem Books Editorial’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owners of the website whose non-profit organization registration number is G55102404. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Stock

We only sell brand new products, not used items.

Most products are carried in stock and can be dispatched quickly. Items which are not on site can take longer to be ready for dispatch. We will try and keep you informed of the progress of your order. When an item is pre-ordered and money is taken for that item (as we use Paypal, this is standard), an expected shipping date will be communicated explicitly with the customer prior to purchase.

Delivery Time

When we have the items of your order in stock it is dispatched quickly. In Spain we use “National letter”, for exports we use “International letter”. We send you an email when your order has been dispatched.

On average:

• Spanish customers – Orders should be with you within 1 – 3 working days after dispatch.
• European customers – Orders should be with you within 3 – 7 working days after dispatch.
• Rest of World customers – Orders should be with you within 5 – 10 working days after dispatch.

Sending The Order

Find the item you want to buy, add it to your cart and pay for it. You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been accepted.

We use Paypal to process our transactions. They’re reliable and you don’t need an account in order to use them.

We also offer the possibility to get the payments through Bank Wire and cash on delivery.

Cancellations

If you want to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. It may be that your order has already been dispatched so we are unable to stop it. We cannot guarantee to cancel items from an order. The only opportunity we have to cancel is when waiting for product that is out-of-stock.

Download purchases cannot be cancelled. Please see separate section below on “Download Sales”.

Guarantees and Returns

All items are guaranteed to be brand new and should reach you in perfect condition.

We will only replace items that are defective, or sent in error.

This is subject to you notifying us within five working days of receipt of the goods and giving a description of the damage / defect. Do not send items back without our permission. Report faulty items via our support area and we will send you return instructions.

After Sale

After an item has been purchased and downloaded onto your Data Storage Device (e.g. computer, or any medium on which data can be stored, whether existing now or in the future), you are permitted to have such copies be made available for your own private and domestic use only.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
